Why People Don't Update Their Websites

After having
this domain for months, I finally sat down to write
my first blog. As I did, I started thinking about all
the people I know who have websites and yet rarely
update their blogs. So, for my first blog, I have
penned a list of the top reasons why people
(including me) don't update their websites.
10. They have better things to do.
9. They don't know how to manage their website very well.
8. None of their friends ever update their website, so they figure no one will notice or care if they don't.
7. They only get like 5 hits a week anyway.
6. Blogs are still kind of new so they don't realize the difference between posting a blog and just e-mailing people.
5. They have better things to do (worth being said again).
4. They have nothing to say.
3. Lack of time.
2. Their too busy accumulating countless, pointless "Friends" on their new MySpace account.
1. If they did write a blog, it'd probably just end up being something stupid like a Top 10 List of "Why People Don't Update Their Websites."
